I’m not entirely sure what prompted Ben to write a noire detective story for a wrestling comic, but I’ve certainly been enjoying it. When he showed me the script that started all of this, I wanted to do it in a black and white “Sin City” style with little drops of color here and there. While the style of the characters hasn’t really changed, they’re still the bug-eyed bobble heads that I draw in all my comics, I’ve been enjoying the look of the black and white. It’s not perfect, I look back and see things I should work on, but overall I’ve enjoyed working on these strips the most so far.
